Most of Garland is served by the Garland ISD, which offers a rich tradition, technology driven education and a Choice of School program for pre-kindergarten through 12th grade. Areas of farthest west Garland are in the Richardson ISD while a portion of south Garland is in the Mesquite ISD. Many private and charter schools also serve the city.
