DOG PARK STATUS: CLOSED FOR MAINTENANCE UNTIL 4 P.M.

Winter notice

The Dog Park has been winterized for the season. All drinking fountains and the dog wash station will be unavailable for use. This is a necessary step to protect the water lines from freezing and breaking. We apologize for any inconvenience. The restrooms will remain open. Please bring water for you and your dog.

Park for our Pals

Garland’s first Dog Park is officially open for play.  The 3-acre, off-leash park project is perfect for a variety of fun, dog-related activities!

There are three rotating dog paddocks with double entry gates and a 6ft high fence for one large dog and one small dog, while the other paddock rotates, allowing the area to rest and for general maintenance. Magnetic locks on the gates will provide security when the paddocks are closed.

  • Large dog paddock - 35 lbs or greater
  • Small dog paddock - less than 35 lbs.

Park amenities include:

  • Drinking fountains
  • Large pavilion, providing shade
  • Seating
  • Park lighting
  • Large green spaces

Location:

901 S. Glenbrook, Garland, TX 75040 (map)
